Riser Extention Question
has anyone put riser extensions on a 2003 custom 1200? Or any other sporty with the 1 peice 5 inch riser.
My back i killing me with the drag bars, leaning forward just a hair to much, if i could get them up an inh or 2 that would be great.

How about mini-apes or buckhorns. New handle bars has got to be cheaper and easier than a new riser.
No matter what you choose to do, keep in mind that this will have some impact on your cables, as in you might need to replace some of them.

Just installed some 2" extensions from DK Products on my Nightster while adding some Biltwell mustache bars. Only have about 100 mi with this set-up, but it appears to be a great solution to raising your handlebars without spending a fortune.

I called over to DK, they said they didn't have any extensions for the 2003 riser (it;s the one piece riser)
