I picked up a Silver GoPro Hero3 this morning. Along with a couple different mounts. Just tried the handlebar mount, a little wobbly/shaky which is what i expected. Next to try the helmet mount.
Does anyone here use a GoPro when riding, and what is your preferred mount setup?
On my dirt bike helmet I use the helmet mount. On street I put the flat mount on my handlebars. Up by the front brake. It seems to work pretty good. I just ordered the chest strap so might try that next ride just to see

There is a mount sold on ebay called a Hog mount. It is for go pros and they have one for contour cameras. It mounts on the cowbell to give a good point of view
Suction mount. Fits perfect on the speedo.
As well as other painted surfaces. It holds pretty good to my denim black, but it loosens after a bit, so I don't recommend it unless you strap the mount to one of your buckles or the bike itself.
When I tested the handlebar mount (very limited mounting location if you have drag bars), I had the lens setting on "wide". Not sure if that made a difference. But it had a wobbly effect. I have a helmet mount, so I will be trying that next since that should be a good perspective.
