Default 1200c riser question

I know it has been discussed and I have researched w little success.

Just got '12 1200c. It has 14" apes on the stock riser. I don't hate the look as many others seem to but I would prefer straight risers.

Straight riser options?
Has anyone had any made?
Speedo relocation options?

Thank You

I switched to the standard Sportster speedo housing/riser clamp with a set of straight risers. It came of a Nightster if I remember correctly. If you go this route, you'll need to switch the indicator light display as well. I don't have the part numbers but they're not hard to find.

Cheapest and easiest is to swap with a low. Guide I wrote a while ago: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/sport...nd-photos.html

Its all about look. What setup you like the best. You can use the nightster/iron setup, low, buy risers and shave them to fit 48 top clamp, or use a flat top clamp and relocate your speedo setup to a side mount. Its just what look you are after. Each one sits a little different. To change the indicator lights you just take apart the one on your bike and disconnect/cut wires, buy nightster style indicator lights and solder them on. Its pretty easy.

If I remember correctly, the clutch cable is from Drag Specialties. I ordered Drag Speciaties throttle/idle cables as well but they only lasted 2 years so I eneded up using stock take-off cables from a buddy's 2012 Wide Glide. The existing brake line worked fine...just had to take the bends out of it.
