Have one on the way from fuel moto with maps loaded for my 13 1200 and wife's 11 iron. I have cobra slip-ons on now and an outlaw 636v intake waiting on the shelve. Wondering if you have used one, how did the supplied map work? I like that the PV has the capability to fiddle with, but I would be real happy to download and put it on the shelve and ride.
If you told the guys at Fuel Moto what pipes and other mods you've got, they'll send you a map that will transform your bike. I've tuned 3 of my own Harleys with PV's and help from Fuel Moto and I have never been disappointed.
And trust me, the temptation to fiddle with the PV will eventually overcome you. It's fun!
Best of luck! I'm pretty sure you'll be a happy camper.

Sure, you can flash the map and leave the PV in your garage collecting dust, but you are losing out on a majority of its features. There are less expensive flash tuners out there that do just that. The PV will let you autotune the map so that it is perfect for your setup. The display lets you see dozens of different engine parameters that might seem useless at first, but you will realize how helpful they are over time.

This. Right here. I lost track of how many people I've heard say that they will never mount the PV on their bike. Time will tell.
Yes I have read a lot about it and other tuners forever it seems! I just hope I can fiddle with it when I get the urge to and don't have to right away. I have read some threads where guys seem to get lost in the tuning/obsessive. Other simpler options are out there but if they don't work out your option is mostly likely to buy something else.
I've been on the fence with Power Vision or SE Pro Tuner. Think I may go with the Power Vision from Fuel Moto, I love gauges so I think the real time info would be great for me.
The powervision is definately more user friendly with the fact that the touch screen unit is far easier to use than hooking up a laptop but it should be noted that the SEPST also has a autotune feature and is able to adjust all of the same variables as the PV. The autotune feature on these tuners is doing one thing, dialing in your VE tables. It is not doing anything to your AFR or timing, you have to do that yourself.
The map I got from FuelMoto was a little to lean but thanks to Auto Tune, the bike ran great after. It's great to monitor engine parameters too. I have it set up to show me engine temperature, RPM's, fuel used and real time mpg. I love that lil gadget. Truly great hardware to have!
Installed outlaw 636v intake and loaded tune from fuel moto this evening, only 15 minute ride but feels right so far. Which is great, I can play with it later.
