I have a 2015 Tri with Street Cannons and decatted head pipe. Probably just going to change air filter to the K&N one that fits the stock AC. Been running the Street Cannons for a couple hundred miles. I pulled the spark plugs and they show to be very lean. I have some FL-Vied-10s installed and will see what they do. I ran them prior to the SC's and no matter how low they were set, I could smell heavy gas fumes from the exhaust. I'm trying them again to see how they do.
My question is about the FuelPak FP3. If the vieds don't do what I want, I am looking at the FP3. Does it do a good job getting rid of the lean condition? What affect does it have on fuel mileage? Most of all, is it worth the money invested in the long run?
I understand the differences between this and the Power Commander and Power Vision. I'm interested only in my questions on the FP3 at this time.
I have read many threads here and elsewhere and there is a wide variety of opinion on it. I'm asking for real life experience from those of you who have it, not just hearsay. Thanks.
I put the FP3 on my 15 Limited. It ran a little better and smoothed out the lower rpms for pulling out. Don't do the autotune unless you want your gas millage to drop significantly. I did like changing the throttle response so it was quicker. I have a new 16 Tri-Glide and I'm not changing anything yet.

I have the FL's installed on my Free and wife's Tri. When I put the CFR Megaphones on, the trikes ran leaner than stock and had a bad hesitation starting. The FLs are set at 3/4 now and the scoots run great. I don't smell any gas smells, and we are running 34 to 36 mpg. Good Luck
I just installed the FP3 yesterday on my 14 TriGlide. I'll be adding more comments as I ride it more. IMO of you don't plan to use the autotune feature there are probably cheaper options.

I have run an FP3 on my '14 Tri-Glide and I was pleasantly surprised with how well it did. Very strong tune and auto-tune worked well.
However, unless you have a defective set of ViED's, I don't think you're going to have a difference in the smell between the ViED's and the FP3.
The ViED's do not over richen the tune, nor will the FP3. Perhaps with your new exhaust and filter element your experience will change.
Here are my efforts with the FP3 this weekend on my 14 TriGlide.
I didn't purchase Vance & Hines exhaust so I chose the generic slipons when I installed the FP3 and put it into Autotune mode right away. I rode a short distance and had some green squares and applied the changes when I got home. The next day went for a longer ride that included some in town miles and 30 or so miles of highway driving with the cruise control set at 55 or so. I was a little worried because it wasn't running all that great during this ride. It was crackling and popping and when we came back to the bike after eating at a restaurant I thought I could smell fuel. Not sure if it was another car in the parking lot or not. When I got home had plenty of green squares so I finished the autotune which flashes the changes and takes it out of Autotune mode.
The next day it was running a lot better. I didn't use Autotune the rest of the weekend. I didn't smell fuel after stopping and it popped a lot less. I can't say the decal pop went away completely though. Before the FP3 I had a different tuner and I could not get rid of the popping on decal. Right now with the FP3 it only pops on decal in 2nd gear at about 1900 RPM. Before it always popped on decal in 2nd, 3rd and 4th gear at about 1900 RPM. The only other thing it does that I'd like to fix is before the motor gets up to operating temp it lets out a pop when I shift from 1st to 2nd. I'll probably reach out to Vance & Hines support for some help with this. I probably need to run Autotune some more in various riding situations.
I bought the FP3 for the Autotune feature because I figure it can tune the bike better than my guessing what settings to change and I didn't like the results of the 1st tuner I tried.

Unless you're looking to change the look, or swap cams, bump the compression up and have heads ported. The stock air cleaner is more than up to the task of a basically stock engine. The marginal gains don't justify the costs of a Stage 1 air cleaner.
I sent Vance & Hines an e-mail asking about the decel pop and below is the response.
"We can make changes for the decel pop, however, you may see a decrease in fuel economy. Some popping is normal, it is up to you to determine if it is so much of a nuisance that you are willing to sacrifice fuel economy to get rid of it."
I'm going to accept the little bit of decel pop I get sometimes in 2nd gear. It may take a while to determine what fuel mileage I'm getting. The only time I've checked it in the past is on longer trips so I don't know what I get with just the short runs I normally do. When I took a trip last year to South Dakota and Colorado I got anywhere from 24 to 34.
I might run the autotune again sometime. What I like about this FP3 is that you can always go back to a previous flash if you don't like what autotune did.
This weekend has been great weather for riding so we went on a ride to Okoboji, IA. Rode a little over 300 miles this weekend and got between 31.9 and 35 miles to the gallon with an average of 34. Thats as good as or better than Ive gotten when I checked it in the past so I would say using Autotune to fine tune the FP3 does not negatively affect the fuel mileage.
I was not in Autotune mode over the weekend and Im sure that the fuel mileage would suffer if I was. It says right in the FAQ that while in Autotune mode that the bike will not run all that great. It uses some settings that help the FP3 learn correct values.
