It was a beautiful hi 50's low 60's day on Sunday and a few of us did about 180 miles on what I refer to as the TAMPA BAY BEER TOUR featuring a ride down into Palmetto, then a stop or two in Gibtown before heading up north into Pasco Co., then back down and around for a stop or two in Seffner, then over to Tampa to Ybor City and sooner or later a final touchdown at Hooters for dinner. A splendid time was guaranteed for all.

The wife and I rode down to Yankeetown. Beautiful day and ride. Our first choice of restaurants was closed and our second as well.

Yep, today Tuesday 2/4/20, did just about the same thing. A little cloudy here in Central Florida, but no rain predicted so I figured it was good to go.

I started off at a large empty parking lot near me to practice some slow manuvers. I'm working on trying to be able to do a consistant U-turn within the width of a two lane road...I know 18 ft is doable but in 24 ft or less is my goal. Getting there but sill more practice is needed Also did some tight circles, figure eights and others.

After about an hour of practice I headed up to the Destination Daytona to purchase a new seat bolt...lost the other one somewhere. After leaving the Dealership, I did a casual loop out West, then North, then back East ending on A1A where I stopped for a nice lunch at the Oceanside Grill in Flagler. Then a leasurly ride back home. Just all in all a nice pleasant ride.

I started out with a long sleeve pullover and a flanel shirt on under my leather vest. Nice while it was still cool in the AM, but I like to die from the heat on the way home after lunch...temps got up into the middle 70's real quick. I was dumb and did not stop to shed the extra shirt.

The Blackwater in Yankeetown and Shrimp landing in Inglis. I guess both are closed on Mondays. Ended up going to Mama Sally's. It was OK.
