Helmets or Not
The real importance of helmets, IMO, is that they sometimes allow a rider to get up and ride, or at least walk away, after an unplanned incident. Of course nobody, except the rider and any witnesses, knows about those incidents. The next important thing, again IMO, is that they can prevent, or at least minimize, a head injury that may affect a rider every waking second for the rest of their life. Not every incident results in immediate,
or even sure, death.
Considering the odds sometimes life, such as it is, goes on and on.

I would like to know what " you" think on this.
Here's a story of a good friend of mine riding his HD....( keep in mind, this is Canada)
He is following a car, the car slows, WHY....
Because the car in front is making a left turn.
Buddy doesn't know and passes, as the second car turns left, he hit's it broad side.
He dies at the the scene, he is wearing a helmet, but because his head blew up, they had to cut the helmet off him.
So, my point or discussion is, is it better or not.
I just wish it was the same here in Canada. Ryder's are much more aware of their surroundings as compared to allot of others imho. It seems that bikers have that third sense and carry it when they drive their vehicles also.
