A felony charge is probably a little steep but they should pay some hefty fines..

Even though I think that video clip shows a stupid thing being done, I don't see it as a high crimes event that some flukes of society would like to see prison time served. I'll bet they beat their dog everyday when they get home too.

we stay together for safety. sometimes we block traffic and run red lights. most drivers are happy to see us and dont mind waiting, some are completely retarded and get mirrors kicked off. most of you will never understand and are hypocrite pretenders. dont like it? feel free to file a complaint with your local LEO office.

oh, and get some ****ing patience in your life. you're the same people who refused to move over when a fire truck comes screaming through an intersection because "you have somewhere to be" society is sad these days, no respect. busting up funeral processions? yeah you're a bad ***.

Perhaps a little different perspective here. When not on my day job I am a Volunteer Firefighter and we have about thirty miles of US Highway in our District. We respond to quite a few accidents on that 75 MPH two lane road. The second largest line of duty death category (behind heart attack) for Fire Fighters is secondary collision on highway scenes. Blocking traffic is inherently dangerous not only for the people who do it but the people coming up on the blocked intersection or roadway as well.

I was on a call where I arrived on an accident scene, stepped off the engine, and before I could even take a step watched an SUV spin right through the primary scene and take out three more cars. That call went from routine to check your bunkers for poop and not so routine in just seconds. Had we arrived just five seconds earlier it could have been a life changing event for some of us.

People drive like sheep and when you change normal for them bad things happen. Blocking an intersection is not normal. The driver of that SUV stated he never saw the scene until right before impact and there was a fairly large red thing with flashing lights parked next to it. I would not assume anyone sees me if I were blocking an intersection on my bike with no warning lights at all.

I would not want to be the cause of something serious happening to another person or persons just because I wanted my group to stay together.

"No respect". So illegally holding up traffic so you can keep together with your buddies is respectful to all the people you are making wait? This me me me society is sad these days.

yes...because the traffic today is nose deep in their ****ing cell phones and ipads while driving. so when a large group of bikes is attempting to negotiate an interesction, getting noticed is important.

oh no! illegally holding up traffic! i bet you use your turn signal 200' prior to making a turn, and use hand and arm signals, and make sure you always do the speed limit, and only cross in crosswalks, blah blah. whatever man, you are obviously holier-than-thou

What a narrow minded idiot. You live where you can't ride half the year, your women have hairy legs and serve you food with the head on it. You wear cheese on your heads for heavens sake. Your women have that nasal tone in their voice like fingernails on a chalkboard Your roads are too crapppy to ride without damaging a bike and your cars fall apart after about 3 years from rust.

oh yeah lol..that makes it mean I really don't want folks to thnk I am an azzhat but I really am....lol

Damn, is this a great winter thread or what?

Although it has never happened to me, it would **** me off if a bunch of bikers blocked an intersection on their own.

give me freakin break. if I really ride? I have well over 125,000 miles on 2 wheels. Does this mean I "really ride"?

Blocking intersections - and I am not talking LEO here, is arrogant, selfish, self centered, and dangerous. Get over yourself.

Bikers do not own the roads and do not make up their own rules. I don't freakin care if its 1 bike or 100. They need special permission and help going through an intersection? Maybe they need training wheels too. Those stops signs are tricky.

IMHO the absolute correct answer.
If the most brain dead driver runs your unauthorized "blockade" and kills your buddies they are legally blameless. They could sue YOU!!!
No PD- no blockade. PERIOD!
Watched a rider die and a bunch of other bikers injured this year because of this stupid practice. When it happens when I'm with a crowd- I bail. I'll meet ya there, ALIVE.
