They are not a replacement for the headlight, I asked for pics w/o the headlight on so that I could ascertain where this product was putting light. From what I can see in this picture, it appears to be lighting the area that is left dark by the Daymaker light on my RG. That is what I am looking for, this may be the ticket.

They really look like great lights but I would like to see a set mounted on the top bar of the engine guard (like where the HD Engine Guard set goes) so you can angle them down - towards the road.

To me having them on the sides, looks they are shooting upward and will potentially blind people.
I'd rather have them shooting down the road lighting up stuff.
I'm sure they will mount on the top bar without a problem... I'll just wait until someone does it first and takes a pic because I bet they will look awesome...

There's no reflector or magnifier so they're not going to project very far. People would see ya coming though!

Default Wires... which is which??

I just got these and want to hook them up to test before completing the install, but the wires are black and white. I do not know which is the hot and which is the ground and no where in the little instruction sheet does it tell me. I don't want to blow these out by hooking them up backwards. Anyone who has hooked these up know? I saw a couple pictures in the forum, and it looks like they had red and black which would be fairly easy to figure out. Mine are not red and black though. I have seen both black and white wires used as hots before on other electrical items.

So which wire is which? (I emailed cirius and told them that is something that might be kind of an important piece of information to add to their instruction sheet)

Thanks for any help.

Have you contacted the manufacturer? I've found them to be very responsive.

Default black is the ground wire

Yeah I did, and in fact just got a reply from them. Black is ground, white is the power wire. So there ya go.

I wasn't aware of these engine guard lights. The installation is very clean and they are very nice lights. The main disadvantage in my opinion is the inability to adjust the direction of the light.

With that alone, I prefer the HD reflector LED fog lights even though the HD lights are three times more expensive. I want to be able to direct the light where I want it most.
