I've been using adjustables for years and never had one come loose. I would rather spend the extra money and save time and hassle. Your call. Just make sure you use the quickee SE adjustables. Regular adjustables won't clear.

It's not that hard. I did it having never done it before, and you can too. The key thing is to have the specific tools you need, and to go through the top you need dog bone wrenches to torque both the rocker arms down, then the covers, and if I recall correctly they are two different sizes. These are in addition to the cam tools. There are those who have successfully done it I suppose without using them. Your call on that one. The procedure is in the service manual.

Default Does this apply to mine also?

Does this apply to 09 Ultra classics with the 96ci motor? Any thing I need to do or know when doing this? My motor is stock with 49K miles.

I talked to Gary at Andrews today. He said there is .02 difference in the base circle, but that .02 difference is fine. You can use stock PR's.

Oh, and Gary is a cocky SOB.

^^+1. It also allows you to run them down into the lifter a little more. Quieted mine down quite a bit.
