Nice, I wish I was a bad rider like you. I never seem to crash. Glad you're ok

I read it as she slammed on the brakes to make the turn, hence she didn't know where she was going why lead then. Secondly yes he is at fault also for two reason. First, he was following to close I'll give everybody that one. Secondly letting her lead if she didn't know where she was going in the first place. Still glad everybody is ok either way.

First, glad you're ok. And, even more importantly, you realize you made a mistake. That's huge.

The MSF instructions above are, obviously, enormously misleading. Ok, it's garbage. If you lock up the rear, just like the front, instantly release and reapply. The ONLY time you keep the rear locked and ride it out is if you don't realize that the rear is locked and sliding until it's too late, meaning that the rear of the bike has swung out to the side so if you release you'll high side.

Take an advanced course. You'll have the opportunity to practice threshold braking at higher speeds than in the BRC, and it will be an huge help.

I went from a Sportster to my Super Glide, and I'm actually thinking about a Road King. Sooo, how do you like it compared to the Sportie?

Glad you are OK.
Live another day. Learn so you will live.
So many classes and opportunities to advance your skills as a rider in today's world. It is by God's grace I have never had an accident in 25+ years on a scoot without any classes. Take advantage of them.
Again, glad you are OK. Shake this **** and have a great 2015! :-)

I was already planning on doing the advanced course. Now even more so. :P

The road king is a whole different ball game. More maneuverability, better lean angle, and better performance. I loved the sporty and plan to get another one in the future, but the roadking is a great bike. It handles so much better that it even feels lighter (unless you are as short as me and holding it up at a light).

I know exactly what you mean about "feeling lighter". When I rode the Dyna home, I was actually laughing out loud because it felt so easy to handle.

Saw a female just purchased her 2015 sportster and ran into the block wall right after she took off forgot to turn right in the parking lot minor injuries bike's front end trashed both should heal at the same time (crap happens). Dealer probably like that kind of sale double his bottom line in few minutes.
