I take many forks apart. I can 100% make the statement that you need to check your Bagger bushings at 10K miles. There is much better options than any HD fork oil available locally and much cheaper. I see fork bushings worn out at 10K. After the Teflon coating is worn off the bushings, the hard chrome on your forks is the next thing to go. My point is that it is cheaper to service your suspension yourself than it is to buy replacement parts from HD, and your suspension just works better. Teflon coating is clear n color and is shinny. Your bushings are not to be worn like rod bearings.

The Teflon is kinda gray to my knowledge.
Here is a pic of a severely abused top bushing where the Teflon is cut through and destroyed.
Pulled this from a bike with 60K that had low fluid that was never changed...much.
