Lost my CC on my '07 Ultra.
Couldn't get the CC to hold.
Problem was the Idle Control Cable.
After replacing and looking at the cable, there is a contact that is covered with a boot and under the boot is a contact. Mine was green with corrosion. If I had known about the contact, I might have gotten a fix with some contact spray.
It's hidden behind the air cleaner and out of sight.
Worth a try.....
Gear ratio changes will also effect the cruise, if you have recently changed primary sprocket, or secondary pulley tooth counts you have changed the ratios and the cruise will not function on a TBW bike.
