Thanks guys. I haven't seen the bike in person. Just on the website. I'm gonna go check it out in person this weekend. It's supposed to be -17 degrees here tonight, so I don't think it's going anywhere. Price actually seems low for this area. Local dealer has a 2004 with 24,000 miles for $12,999, and a 2007 with 54,000 miles for $13,500. $9499 seemed low to me.
I know you said you're gonna pass on this bike. I bought my 2011 Electra Glide Classic in July from a Honda Yamaha dealer. They buy a lot of auction bikes. Mine had 42k miles on it. They came down 500 from asking price to $13,500. They had no history on it. I called the local dealer who pulled the service records and gave me the name of the dealers who serviced it. It was from New York state. Was sold to a rental company. It has some scuffs here and there. I put a clutch in it. Runs great, and looks great when cleaned up. Just keep your grapes peeled and you'll find a good deal on what you want.
