Just an idea, but when you finally get access to those torx bolts, perhaps you might consider changing them to standards. Then, if you wanted or needed, ball head allens would work easily.Good luck.

If I have to go to the trouble of pulling/tilting the fairing to access the bolts, I will definitely change them out. However, my goal was to just loosen the rear 2 bolts enough to roll the bars a bit without further disassembly. I may end up doing it anyway. Thanks for the suggestion.

Last year at Lowes I bought a three set of folding standard allen, metric allen, and torx wrenches. Kobalt lifetime warranty. Red, blue, and gray to easy identify. I find some use for them all the time.
Sorry for the bar woes...

Problem solved. I went to Lowes and picked up a set of driver bits that included the T40 torx I needed and a small 1/4 ratchet. I had to cut/dremel off a small portion of the T40 bit in order to make it fit between the bolt and inner fairing, but it worked well after that. Bars are now where I need them. I have so many tools it's ridiculous, but I never seem to have exactly what I need.

Thanks again to everyone for your input and suggestions. I'm going riding.
