looks like you have a lepera maverick? i had one of those and it was the best of the many i tried. i absolutely love the built in back rest. lepera will actually recover your lepera seat but its pricy. or maybe call c&c and see if they can. if you do decide to get rid of it pm me and i'd be seriously interested!
It is the Maverick and I too love the built-in back rest, I will be sending it back to Le Pera for them to rework the seat. They are footing the bill for it. But after two of their seats and not being happy with either I don't have a lot of faith left in them. Especially when talking to their customer service and they asked me how I wanted them to build the seat to make me happy. Good for them for asking but I don't know how to build a seat, so I told her that. She insisted I tell her how to make it better. I told them it felt like I was riding on concrete and my seat has the works. The only thing the gel insert has done for me so far has been to burn my *** for an hour after the bike sat in the sun for 5 hours. But I will make sure you are the first to know either way when I get it back.

I do feel for you - I can not tell you how many stories like yours I have heard over the years - Having a seat built 'Over the phone' is such a hit and miss problem. I Love my Corbin - However, I have read many Horror stories like yours about mail order Corbin and I really do not get it. Like I said before, I live about 80 miles from Corbin in Hollister Ca - They have a program called "ride in appointment" I have had three seats for three HD made - each time I show up at 0800 with Wife - We spend the day with the seat builder - building our seat.. work, tweak - go for ride... work, tweak - go for ride... by about 2pm - seat is dialed in - takes longer when the builder is trying to please two people, lol
When we say "Perfect" the seat is cover in leather and off we go with a completed seat in ONE day...
Now I have had MANY friends 'feel' my Corbin seat and say - Man, that's FIRM - Corbin is a special seat - With my current Corbin - I have 80K on my Bagger - We retired in 08 - four Coast to Coast trips - longes was 8,000 miles in 26 days - that averaging 300 miles a day for 26 days,, our Butts felt just fine
