Do I need a tune or download?
I just put stock 2012 CVO mufflers on my completely stock 2010 Limited with a stock 2014 air cleaner. I've been running the bike with the 2014 air cleaner for the past 4k miles now with the stock mufflers. With the CVO mufflers the bike seems to run perfectly fine and don't seem to run any hotter oil temp wise than before. I really rather not have to get a SERT and dyno tune for such minimal mods. Should I just get a stage 1 download put in it just to be safe? I don't know if the stock 2014 air cleaner and CVO mufflers really flow that much more than what I had originally. If I do need to get a SERT I might as well gut the cat while I'm at it to get rid of the heat. I know these things are lean from the get go, just trying to figure out what I should plan on doing in the spring when I get it back out.

get xieds (until you decide on a tune when you mod the whip further) until then... that will ease some of the heat issues.

The dealer will hit you for about $300 for the dyno. There are many other options available. Fuel Moto has a solid reputation and can provide you with options for tuners that aren't married to just one bike and maps (along with EXCELLENT customer service) cheaper than any dealership...when you need them. Until then...enjoy it!
