Thanks for the info regarding the standard two light housing. Which bulb did you replace, the high or low beam bulb?

My bike has the single bulb. I was merely relaying information on bikes I have experience with. In the case of the current two bulb setups, like on the pre rushmore Limiteds, or the current Road Kings, they replaced BOTH the low and high (H9/H11) bulbs with LED's. Fuel Moto, DK Customs, and Eastern Performance sell the bulbs for under 100 bucks. I can attest, they are bright as FREEEEAK! Those buckets are awesome because when you hit the high beam (at least on the Gushmores), the low beam stays on as well. So your looking at two, really bright LED's. It's like POW!, Daylight!

Yeah, cleaning off the inside really makes a difference. I was told..... but can't prove, that the fogging is grease, of all things. I was "told" that the lenses fog up over time due to the grease the MOCO uses to protect the socket from corrosion, breaks down over time. And as it breaks down, it disperses and settles inside the lens, Fogging it up. Is it true or a wives tale, I don't know. But it makes as much sense as anything I have ever heard.
