I purchased a pair of HD Premium hand adjustable 13" shocks from a forum member. I installed them last night and took a nice long ride today, all I can say is WOW!!!
I have tried PRo-Action, Super Shocks and Revo-A shocks and in my opinion these HD Premium shocks out perform all of them.
I weigh 215Lbs and have the rebound set at zero. I traveled over some very bumpy roads today and the bike just glided over all of them. I didn't get any back jarring pain that I have been getting with previous set-ups.

Did you have the 12" on the bike before? How much did the seat raise up? I have the 12" premiums and they are much better than the OEM air shocks, just wonder if I should have purchased the 13" and had more travel.....

I have always had 13" shocks through all the brands I've tried so I am at the same height I've always been. I did notice that there is not as much sag with the premiums as with other shocks but that would be the same as the 12" u have. I have a LePera seat that drops me about an inch so I'm sitting in the bike. I'm 6' tall so for me 13" shock are a non issue as far as height.

Good trick since those shocks have no rebound adjustment, only preload on the left side only.
Interesting that people think there is a huge difference in riding comfort between the 12" and 13" adjustable shocks.
The measured difference is only 3/4", which means only 3/8" in stroke going up or down.
Small compression and rebound difference.
Yes but when compared to the initial 2.1" of travel what does that extra .65" get you? A 30% increase? Are you saying a 30% increase cannot be significant? At what point is there a significant difference?
Most of the time there is enough travel in my 12" shocks but when there isn't I'd love to have the 30% additional travel offered by the 13" shocks.
