I have two: an 8" and a 6". I am 5'-10" with stock seat.
I use the 6" around town or when it is really hot, and the 8" on the road. A little wind with the 6" (which is what I wanted), and none with the 8". My wife has no issues with the 8".
I measured to order the 8" size because my RX glasses would move around with the stock "windshield", and I wanted the 6" for looks and more wind on hot days around town.
I love them, and have not had a problem with LRS or their Customer Service. I will continue to use them. As was mentioned, if you leave plastic on you can return it.
