That and, if your shaft is not in real good shape, I don't think it will hold up long. As loose as my shaft lever is, I don't want to get it all apart and THEN find out the shaft is not in good enough shape. I have to pull my primary anyway, the shaft seal is leaking so, there is that. LOL

When you remove the primary, does it take the tension off your clutch lever/cable?

Oh yeah, of course it does. I just removed the clutch assembly. Duh.

I just bumped into it and realized it's flopping back and forth. Or, is it a coincidence that it just broke?
Yes, without the clutch assembly in place, the rod that goes through the center of the mainshaft has nothing to push against. When you get it back together it will work normal.

The dealer sold me AllballsRacing #25-3102 bearing kit, just wanted to make sure this is for the bearing and seal thathe goes in the inner primary cover. Instead of using two snap rings, it uses one with a wider bearing. does this sound right? anyone else ever used this part?

Item #10, 25 and 12.
