For "ME", as long as I have my heated jacket liner, Gloves, Grips, I can wear my Burton's first layer, jeans or thermal pants down to the 20's!!!!

Keeping your core warm, everything else is warm!

With the batwing and lower fairings, I can ride with just a leather jacket and gloves down to 50 degrees. Below 50 I wear chaps. I am not a big fan of chaps but am a fan of being less cold.

My initial reaction to the thought of chaps was flashbacks to the Village People. That has passed with the thought of being warm. I also went to Academy Sports and bought some knock off UA thinsulate long johns that are nice and light weight, but add in keeping me warm.

Below 40, I add heated gloves and a neck gator. Stay warm enough to ride 2.5 hours at a stretch in the dark, early morning hours on my commute to work.

Default Keeping warm

I sold my heated vest yesterday!
It was great for the chest but my arms were always cold.
I'm heading down to the store today (Black Friday) to get the full heated jacket liner, so that'll help. I also use a Milwaukee heated hoodie for shorter rides, because I don't want to set up a charger and wait for the green light to come on for longer trips.
I've never tried heated lower body gear, because around here, any appreciable trip away from the Japanese current involves snow - not fun on 2 wheels.

Did you try the chaps with jeans underneath?
If not, it probably is a cool breezy ride!

Two piece ski suit, works great. Take them off when you stop riding.

There is plenty of great riding gear out there. I gave up trying to make do with nonriding stuff a long time ago (ok I still wear coyboy boots sometimes but that old surplus navy jacket went long ago). It just doesn't work near as well. Start with Kevlar lined jeans, proper jacket and gloves. Add chaps, layer under that, longjohns top & bottom, Then over-pants. After that it is time to plug in...

Go to Jammin Leathers for a pair of letter pants. They are awesome!!!!
Very comfortable and you can put regular Underarmor on under them when not real cold and the ultimate Freece lined underarmor when the temp really drops. I have tried it all and this works great for me.

Jammin just sent me a Black Friday email showing 20% off today!

Ride safe

I was pleased with how much the soft lowers help, feet and lower legs stay much warmer.
