Wemade thetrip to DCfrom Michigan over the weekend for the rolling thunder parade; we had five bikes in the group, perfect size. We tookback roads down through all the little towns, the twistersand switch backs in West Virginia werea lot of fun,the wifehad a great time on her street bob carving up the corners and ripping the chrome offher pegs. She rolled 10,000 miles coming into Winchester virgina not to shabby for a chick in one year; I swear she loves that bike more than meat times.Man I thought I saw a lot of bikes in Sturgis, that place was insane with bikes, and the parade was awesome. We only had one full day for sight seeing so we went to Arlington cemetery, witch wasvery cool and we watched the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown solider, that place was very moving.I would definitely do that trip again and take a few more days to wander around.
I was there tooâŚwhat a great event and what a way to send a message to Washington. This was my 2nd year attending this event and hopefully I will be able to attend for as many years as necessary. Glad to hear you and your wife had a good time and a good ride.

Come back and stay longer! Lots to see within easy reach, history, scenery, attractions!
As with Sturgis, the total experience is more than just wandering the town, it includes the Badlands, Needles Hwy, Deadwood, Mt. Rushmore, etc.
11 bikes in our group. Always a good time in DC, if you can stand the heat & humidity. You should try to make it down toDELMARVA bike week in OC, Md. Not as many bikes but plenty of eye candy & drinking......
