Finally got my bike after two and a half long months of waiting. I have a question for anyone running Carlini 1.5" bars - what riser/handlebar clamp are you using. The dealership installed an LA Choppers clamp on mine and the bars can be pulled back no further than you see in the picture. Tech said if he pulled them back any further it would pinch the wires coming out of the bar? Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like it was worth the wait. Nice looking ride. What year & model??
finished my first time DIY ceramic coating. Turned out not too bad. Will see how long it lasts
Looks great Oscar! Might try that on mine. Did it fix any scrapes/scratches you had in the paint? I have a few light wear spots that bug the hell outta me. Also, I finally bought that Siouxicide Choppers Excalibur backrest with diamond stitched backrest. I really like it, adds a huge custom look to my '19 RKS! Matches the saddlemens road sofa LS perfect!
Copy of my DYNO sheet after 22X-E cam upgrade & before inserts, then after inserts installed. They REALLY helped take the early dip out.

What did you end up using for your passing lights and brackets? Been wanting to add that to mine.

They're part number 68000042.
Keep in mind you'll probably also need to replace your turn signal housing for 67800166 (gloss black), since they're flat black on the Road King Special.
The dealer will work out the wiring and switch for you.

If thats the case, your cables are not long enough? Or the tech is too lazy to do it right.
I have the exact same setup and we had to adjust them three times for me to be comfortable.

Thanks Jon. Yours sure looks very custom now.
Surface prep and paint correction are the key thing for ceramic coating. You can think of the ceramic coating as much harder and durable wax, so it's pretty much like a clear coat and it will not hide any scratches, but reveal them instead. That's why you want to take a time on surface prep. I did double bucket wash, then clay bar then Mothers surf prep followed by 3-in-1 polish and coat and, finally ceramic coat. Took me about 12 hours to do all that. While I can still see some scratches when look closely I'm happy with how it turned out. Local shop quoted me $1,500, I understand that professional application will be much better and last longer, but I can't shell out $1,500 right now.
