Yes sir Ive always preferred heated gloves over grips. I have a set of Gerbings that are several years old and still work great. You just have to deal with the cables going from the bike to the gloves.

I’ve seen wireless gloves that can be charged via usb. But they had some contradictory reviews that made me hesitant about getting a pair

I’ve wrestled with that dilemma: grips vs gloves for some time myself, and decided to get grips just because they will always be on the bike. With gloves, even Gerbing (considered to be the “platinum” standard by just about every rider) says that you have to charge your gloves once a month when not in use in order for the battery to stay viable - this means that I would have to get the gloves that plug into the bike because I would not remember to charge batteries every month. Knowing me, I would not want to plug myself into the bike every time and I would wind up not using the gloves - hence the grips for me people have said that riding in very cold conditions with just gloves feels like you are holding icicles in your hands, so, gloves and grips for those who are truly hard-core

My view is heated grips are better than nothing, and I would likely get caught out without my gloves on occasion. It’s happened with my heated liner…i didn't think I’d need it until it was too late…heated grips certainly helped that day. Why not have both? Have gloves for the REALLY cold days, grips for the rest?

I bought a GOBI heated jacket and heated gloves, both rechargable battery operated. They work GREAT!

+1. If you can only have one, heated gloves would be better, but both would be the best option.

What mounts do you have for your aux lights? I need to find a set of lights I like and mounts that also work with the windshield mount on.

They're mounts for a Street Glide. I used kit PN 67800366A but you need to de-pin and create your own wiring harness, not too hard.
