What year bike is yours, I didn't see it mentioned but HD has been using QD fuel lines for years. Once you lift up on the locking collar at the tank and pull down on the line the shut-off valve will stop the fuel from flowing. No need to go to a Stealership. Just have a rag handy for some small residual gas.

No need to run the lines dry, it will shut off once you pull it apart. You will have to do the same in reverse to put it back on, it does not just snap back in.
Finally was able to wash and detail mine. Took 2 days and a lot of sweat (its now officially hot in NC lol). 2 layers of ceramic coating are down, but prep work was tedious

Looks good Oscar! You have one of the best looking RKS on this site buddy.
Here is my 2020 RKS,
12'' Bagger Nation Bars
Road King Light Bar
Memphis Shades Road Warrior Fairing
Memphis Shades Hand Guards
Amazon Lowers
Amazon Luggage Rack
Cobra Exhaust
CVO seat
RRI Led lights
Special Line X paint job
Just found out thanks to YouTube the HD Coolflow cooling fan mounted behind the rear cylinder on my RKS has a on, off, and auto position and the fan status actually shows up on the dash LCD display. The fan came with the bike and I thought the switch was hardwired in the on position since it always popped up the few times I pushed it down.

I didn't know about that -- pretty cool.. I might need one of those.

I also found this out about the function of the on and auto positions of the switch. I have mine in the on position and it works as advertised. I don't have to start the bike up in the off position either unlike what the instructions state.
