Hey guys. Got my bike back from the tuner yesterday. Details below.
Has anyone done the cvo ignition delete? I am going to change my speedo from the Dakota Digital gauge, to the Koso gauge that integrates into my Thrashin risers.
The question is, what do I do with the stock speedo spot? Anyone done this yet? Assuming I would need a new dash. Rendering the ignition useless, which is fine. Just unsure of the process for that. If youve done it, lmk.

I'm also going to order up some KST 14" Straight Jackets. Has anyone else put Straight Jackets on the RKS?
I had a set in my cart for a while then went with the Pathfinders instead because of the ability to adjust the pull back. I went with the 12" and can assure that stock cables from a 2017 RKS will work just fine. Dialing them in with my wrench was very easy and I have been super happy with the bars, way more comfortable.
The Pioneer has the look of the Straight Jackets, and I was leaning that way but decided to change up the look with the Pathfinders. I'm not a fan of the "meat hook" look. The Pathfinders reminded me more of Z bars.
Oh! get on their mailing list. I had been going back and forth on spending the cash. I got on their list and got an email for a holiday sale. I got a smoking deal , something like $100 off everything all together if memory serves.
I welt with the 10" pathfinders on my 2022 and like the adjustability. The wires were fairly easy to pull and I did not need an extension for them. I did however need the clutch cable extension on mine to make them work.

I'm running 14" straight jackets on mine. I didn't do the install so I can't speak to the difficulty. I do love the bars. Not too wide, not too tall, not too gaudy.
If I remember correctly, a guy named Harley Dave on YouTube had a set on his RKS. You might look him up. You'll have to scroll back through the channel a bit to find the RKS videos as he sold it, but it does showcase the bars pretty well.

Yeah, I've seen that video. They do look good. Should be here today.
