R U the original Big Al's and have retired to France
LoL, It's my nickname because my name is Alain and I'm tall, and also in reference to Big Al who was a friend of Sonny Barger...
thanks for the handlebar and riser references...
Headed out Saturday on a ride to Utah. Before each ride, I buy some new farkle for my bike or riding gear. I've been thinking real hard about tip over protection as I get older and the odds of a gas station tip over mount. I am just not a fan of the Harly type rear saddlebag tip over bars. So, I went with this......Bag Armor Siouxicide Choppers
Came in today. Super easy install and pretty well low profile. I'm hoping that like carrying rain gear reduces the chance of rain, these will lessen the chance of a tip over!
I'm still thinking about changing my handlebars, and I haven't seen many RKSs with a Hammerhead from LA Choppers. I think it looks good on the Road Glide, but I wonder if it would be the same on an RKS. I like the look and the narrow side for the position.
Does anyone here have one, and maybe some pictures?
It would be a simpler solution; no need for risers or a clamp cover.
What do you think?
Good morning. New road king owner. Im literally vertically challenged at 5.6 I have lowered the back 2 inches but the seat is real wide was wondering if anyone new of a seat that is not so wide up front. It currently has the factory seat on it

Many manufacturers will list dimensions but even then it can be a crap shoot due to where the measure from. If you have not considered a custom upholsterer I would highly suggest that. Having the foam cut to fit what you are looking for would likely be way less expensive than an aftermarket seat. I had my stock seat cut for aesthetics, gave it a cafe style hump and some diamond stitching on the seat area for under $300.
I've been using it for years too.I have it on my bags,,tank,,primary cover, forks, front fender & a little on my tank.It has realy helped save the paint. All my bikes get the treatment.
