Al, I went with the Thrashin Supply 9.5 pullback riser (I know you mentioned above you're not a fan of) and their mid bend bar. I love this set up, it's about 13.5" total rise.

I saw a photo in this topic from last year https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...ring+road+king it seem that you have change the configuration, what was this one ? and why ? and did you have to change wires and cables...

Al, that wasnt my bike. Close, but not mine lol that one has 9.5 risers and a thrashin HIGH bend bar. Difference on mine is I went with their MID bend bar, its a bit lower. If im not mistaking, its 5.5 vs 4 inch rise. I didnt have to change wires/cables myself, but I also got the bike with 14 apes on it so the wires/cables with those apes, which I imagine the original owner had to swap, worked fine on my setup.

I think they're 6.5" risers with a high bend bar on the one that isn't yours. They look lower than yours, but at the end of the day, it should be almost the same.
Anyway, I prefer your setup; I don't really like the high bend bar...
In the end I think I'll go with the LA Choppers Hammerhead in 12" it'll be easier...
So I'm back! about 2K miles, 6 days and lots of desert roads covered. Soles from my Sidi boots delaminated, Gorilla glue and duct tape got me to a shop and gave me the opportunity to buy new boots! My riding partner's Sena headset developed some issues so he got to listen to the dulcet tones of his motor for hours on end through lonely desert highways. Did not get a chance to test my new tip over protection, thankfully. Lots of wind, lots of 100+ degree days in the saddle. I will say, the RKS makes for a damn fine touring rig!!!
My '21 came with the mini version of those, they are shorter, so its not easy to find fitting highway pegs to mount onto, I also like the look of the full size guard.
Had a good ride the other day with the wife. She had her insta360 on and for the first time I have seen my bike out being ridden since obviously I am always on it. lol The ST fairing isn't for everyone, but I still love it. I will be changing things up soon and pulling it off and going back to normal. It remains my favorite thing about the RKS vs the others. It can be many things visually.
