Default Feel like I'm dodging bullets...

Yep, I feel like all I'm doing lately is dodging bullets with all the primary drive problems I've had with this bike.

First, the rotor shreds. I replace it and the stator with OEM parts. Tear apart the primary drive and replace.

Second, the compensator sprocket decides it's going to start rattling and make all kinds of noise. Tear apart the primary drive and replace with Baker compensator and rotor.

Third, Chain tensioner decides to not adjust properly anymore. Tear apart the primary drive and replace with Baker Attitude Adjuster.

Fourth, Start hearing a squealing noise. Tear apart primary drive and replace IPB and race.

Then, as I'm reassembling everything last night, I start bolting in the chain tensioner and SNAP! Snapped off a bolt.

Fortunately, one of the mechanics here where I work was able to extract it.

I just want to go ride.

OK, I'm done whining now. LOL!

Beer is the only thing keeping me from pushing this bike off a cliff at the moment.

Beer = Liquid happiness.

That sucks but, I think you should of replaced the IPB and Race to start with. Also the compensator because it probably caused all of your other issues. I just completed this whole job. Compensator replacement planned. Then found my Inner Clutch Hub broken teeth and all of the nice shaved metal all over everything. Replaced everything all at once.

40K. I'm just getting tired of fixing what I think is the problem only to find that there's now another problem in the same area.

Ya, I should have when the first rotor ripped itself apart. Live and learn I guess.

I feel ya bro. Been in my primary replacing stuff four times and in the trans twice in the last 6 months. Just got done going in and doing every bearing I thought might need it in the primary and transmission, all new bearings and seals I thought do it once more and do it right got it back together took it for a nice 4 hour ride everything was great except for the leak so I went back in and did the inner primary and main shaft seal again. Afraid to ride it now. Keep thinking what's next. So I feel ya
