I bought the cycle gear (Think that is the name) one from H-D shop, it sucks ,looking to replace it now. For 7 bucks might try the Auto zone one

Tune trapper. Why worry about it, just put it inside the fairing. Just added one to my 07 SG, works geat.

I just took a pair of good wire cutters and chopped 18" off of mine. The reception is fine besides I listen to my ipod or cd's when riding.

I also cut my stock antenna in half. Just lossen the locking allen screw where it attaches to the bike and lift the antenna off. Cut it in half and re-insert the cut end back into the bike and tighten the allen set screw and your done. I did not notice any reception difference here in Dallas and if Im on the road I'm listening to a MP3.

Hope it is as good as everyone says. Now to upgrade speakers
