Damnit....LOL.....Averaging 9800. I was putting about 20 per year for the first 3 years I had the bike then I was hit with some severe arthritis...I have managed to put 98000 miles on the old 07...12000 a year is great for your area...Keep riding Brother... You do know I was just Effing with you right....
Don't get me wrong, I love to ride but it has worn off a little and the priorities changed... The bike is paid for and sitting in the Garage so last year I put about 7000 miles I think... this year maybe less...Renovations at the house, new pool in the back yard, finishing my Shop... Vacationing.. You know life gets in the way...

Life is short..I did put 1500 miles 2 weekends ago in the NC, TH mountains and after not having rode the bike in a while I developed a pain in my left shoulder at the shoulder blade area...I swear it's the first time I have got this issue since I put on my 12" Bagger Apes in about 4 years...Just inactivity I guess...
One thing I know for sure is the bike is way more comfortable with these than the touring pullbacks...
And again I will emphasize.. 2" does make a difference.
Stick with the 10's and you should not have change all the cables and wiring. They may need to be re-routed to gain more length. 12" and you will have change out everything....

You might be more comfortable with 12's over tens of thousands of miles, but at least you saved some pennies.
I did all the work myself and kept outer cables so it only was like $300 ish, new cables, brake lines and bars.
I asked owners of apes on bikes if I could sit on their bikes and they had no problem with it after I told them why.
