Just installed the new "WHIM" on 2015 Road Glide. Had radio updated and flashed. Rider headset works fine but passenger headset will not produce any sound. Bike and passenger headset says they are linked. Any ideas?
How do you get to the Wireless Prompts in Boom Setup?
In the setup menu, next to the Bluetooth option is Wireless Headset. I finally got mine flashed yesterday. Sound quality is poor and the intercom doesn't work as well as it does between a pair of 20S. I'm no impressed so far.
Interface is working well for wife and I . We got a few rides in with it 350 miles yesterday.
You said flash was done . Are you referring to dealer flash that is the one that puts the menus functions in.
You have some volume controls to set, Vox , there will be a learning curve with it.
How do you get to the Wireless Prompts in Boom Setup? I have the module installed and flashed but, can't get to the prompts.
You have to connect the one end of harness (black) to the CB connector and leave the other capped. I had same issue once I re plugged it popped up as soon as I powered up. You will have a new prompt for wireless headset. I thought since I didn't have CB the black just stayed there but it has to be connected. I'm guessing pre 2018's draw power from the one black end.

Great feedback, many thanks! I did not have the black connector connected to the bike side. I didn't read that very clear enough to understand what was meant. Once I hooked it up, the Wireless prompt came up on the Boom! Again, many thanks for the feedback!
