My speaker switch is out, so I bought a DRAG SPECIALTIES 2106-0233 which was guaranteed to replace HD-77092-98. The only problem is....the drag specialties has 3 wires instead of 4 like the one in my dash. Also, does anyone know how to get the bullet wire ends to back out of the molex type harley connector? The drag specialties switch is only 41 bux online vs 80+ at the harley dealer. Of course, I guess thats all the wires you get for less money =))
Are you sure your speaker switch is out? You never hear of them going bad. Sounds like the Drag Specialties part is wrong. Look on Ebay for a used one. Pinwall Cycles, and Elvis Parts are two recyclers on ebay that list used parts. try contacting them.
I had that issue on my 09. i would operate the switch & the speakers would come on & off. Thought it was the switch, turned out it was the radio. The Harmon radios are known for it.
Thank you for the information. I had read it could be the stereo and not the switch, but I can toggle that switch alot and make the sound go on and off too. So, I toggled it so much I just finally decided there was no way it wasnt the switch and ordered one. I guess it will have to go back to where it came from since it dont have enough wires to even try it. =/

Does anyone know if there is there a way to get the wires out of this connector so i can insert the new bullet ends of the new SPKR switch into the connector?

There is a way. I found it in the FSM. There's a whole section on the different connectors used in the bike. Not near it now though. There may be special tools to make it easier but I've always made do with bits and pieces around the garage, wires, picks, paperclips, micro screwdrivers, etc.
