after i installed kuriyaken tour pack slide. my radio has been acting up. the speakers just stop playing. shut radio off& turn back on they play again.
then they shut of ffor no apparent reason . foud by using the speaker switch they would not play at all with speaker switch in a mode. some times while in b mode only the rear speakers would continue to play.other times neither set of speakers would play. by switching between a then back to b or c the speakers would start playing or switching between b mode and c mode on speaker switch they would play after they had quite playing. is this a ground problem or is my speaker switch bad?
Sounds like you have a cracked circuit board in the HK radio. You'll need to send the unit to Iron Cross to have it repaired. This also happened to me and seems to be fairly common. Search the forum for more information. You should run the diagnostics on the radio.
If you send your radio to Iron Cross for repair, you might want to also have them change your backlight. I had them change mine to "white" and it makes the radio much easier to see/read in the evening/night.
