Have you tried to loosen the connection at the master cyclinder? Like was said, the plunger inside might be stuck.

Being that it’s a 98, it might not be a bad idea to remove the master cylinder and just rebuild it for peace of mind. The little kit from HD has everything you need and it’s really simple.

Yup tried it all. Even took the line off and blew it out. Think you right, I’m going to order and rebuild kit for the master, should I do HD kit I seen bikers choice had a kit? Also thought about rebuilding the calipers.

Before you buy anything try doing a good caliper service. Remove the brake pads and clean the exposed areas of your pistons and try to push a little bit more out and clean that area too. Put some brake grease around the pistons and then push them all the way back in until their flush with the inside surface of the caliper.

Then flush your system again, reinstall your pads and see if you regain pressure. Sometimes the pistons get “off square” from the bores and this sort of resets them. If your having an extreme difficult time turning them or pushing them in, you probably do need to rebuild your calipers.

I’ll do that can’t hurt thanks.
I didn’t see any rebuild kits on the HD site or is that something I have to call them for?

Won’t be on the P&A site, it will be on a parts fiche site. 45072-96D is the kit listed for your 98

You can get a rebuild kit here. Cheaper and just as good.
