Check with HQ about their 0039G Cam, it'll kick in a 88" very torquey and will only get meaner as you do the 95" and big Boyz street ported heads it's a veryhigh Torque cam! http://www.head-quarters.com/
I am looking for a little more hp and torque. I want to go to gear drive cams and thought about the S&S 510g. My mechanic mentioned going to a 95". He says the cams alone will help, but why waste money if you go to a 95 later. Need some opinions. Thanks!
I would go with cams first. They are easier and cheaper to install and if properly tuned won't affect gas mileage much, if any.
Hey I like what they say on the Headquarters website. It's all about torque and low-end grunt. Right up my alley. I will be calling them to see what my next move will be.

Yep, They are the ones I'm putting in with the 98" kit. [sm=smiley20.gif]
Doug Coffey at HQ will give you the skinny--just do yourself a big favor and follow his advice. For a touring bike and streetable compression, he may suggest his 575 or HQ-0039 cams assuming you plan to do a 103" kit in the near future. Or he might suggest the HQ-0034. Whatever, listen, ask questions, and be honest about what you want and your budget's timetable.
