On my dresser the right side muffler is allways stronger than the left. Depending on what make and model you have that may also be true so let us know what you have that will help
Any factory-based system, with both pipes coming together in some way, will have unequal 'puffs' out of each pipe, it's the nature of the beast! Ride on and enjoy......
grbrown, that makes sense, but I am running V&H True duals with 4" street cannons and the rear cylinder doesn't "puff" like the front either.

Interesting! It's a long time since I last ran TDs and I recall the puffs weren't identical, although closer than with the stock pipes. I put that down to the TD pipes being of very different lengths (on an Evo).
Some pairs of mufflers are designed to be different, as even on a modern stock system the gas flow through left and right are different. Street Cannons "are 50-state street-legal for sale and use on all vehicles, including those that are pollution controlled", so it is just possible they don't flow the same.
