Lost1,
where did you get your 1.5' baffles?I think I want to try a set of 2'.I have 1.75' now. Thanks Mike
Mike,
I got my 1.5's from Fuel Moto for about $75, which included shipping.
The 1.5 is pretty quiet, especially when cruising, but still barks when you get on it.
How many miles are on your baffles? They'll get louder after about 1000 miles...
I like both, but went with Rush for the ease of changing baffles. Just put some 1.5" in mine yesterday & plan to run them awhile & see how I like them. Definitely quieter than the 2" I had, which is nice on the highway.
Did you notice any performance decrease going from 2" to 1.5"? I have the 1.75" and performance is excellent, but might like it a bit quieter at times.
Iclick- I've only driven it about 50 miles since changing to the smaller baffles, but I haven't noticed any performance hit. As I haven't done any other mods to my bike other than the slipons, any power gain realized by going to a larger muffler was minimal at best, and I cannot say I ever felt any hp increase at all. (Not a problem for me as I only put them on for the sound vice any performance increase. )
IMO going from a 1.75 to a 1.5" shouldn't make any difference at all in felt performance...
