Rear sprocket

10 RK has anyone changed the rear sprocket (68 tooth) to a 70 Tooth of a triglide?.

If you're asking if you can just swap them out? ... No, you can't. It's actually closer to a 2008 IDS system than a 09-later

How close would that make the 6th gear engine rpm about equal to the 5th gear rpm in the pre-6 speed machines?

The trikes use a wider 1 1/8" belt, compared with the solo models and 30/70 with the identical cush-drive rubbers to the '08 solos. Even a 2-tooth change in size could require a different length of belt.

Rear drive ratio will become 32/70, the same as the original belt drive models. Are you referring to the twincam 88 models, when asking about 5 spd rpms?

This might be slightly off topic, as this info is for Softails and not Touring models, but there is still a ton of great info regarding gear ratios, belt widths etc. Maybe there is some info you can use. If not, it's still pretty damn interesting.
