The part about your bike not accepting the code is interesting, however.
it happens if it is something intermittent. i find in that situation, it is best to take the fob 20' away and then try entering the code. has always worked for me.

I ran into this issue at a dealer when a pack of bikes came in and parked around mine. Although after a few attempts to start it the fob connected. Not sure if this happens with the older security system, I have notice with my new Ultra once the security is activated and the signal lights are flashing it will not display the prompt to enter the PIN. I have to put it back on the jiffy stand and let the system reset so the lights are not flashing. Then when I turn the ignition on, without moving the bike, the prompt will show up so I can enter the PIN.

Yup, right in the Owner's Manual.

Easy fix. Sell your bike and buy an older one with a KEY (or just ride the Wing).

I haven't had the Limited for very long. I did read the manual, but my memory ain't what it used to be. Even then it was quick to figure out my problem.
