Default windshield scratch

Cut down the shield on ultra classic yesterday and put small scratch on it where it laid. Any tips on buffing out scratches?

Do a "Google" search for Novus Plastic Polish. It's good stuff, and you'll find lots of good information about it, as well as many places that sell it.

Novis 2 for small scratches followed by Novis 1 for cleaning and polishing.

Thanks guys. Actually ordered a kit that comes with 1, 2, and 3. One scratch is fairly deep and may need the 3 and will then work my way down. By the way, the amount I cut off the shield at the top seems just right---eyes now over the shield.

What do you use to cut the shield down. Mine is stock (07 RK) and seems a bit high to me.

Brent, I did not have access to the information referenced by the gentleman after you. I took the shield off and measured equal distances from top with perm marker and then connected the lines. Next taped both sides matching the lines and cut with jigsaw using metal blade. Did not keep it taped before starting sanding, and taht would have been a good idea and eliminated in part the need to get polishing materials on order.
