I added the Docking Kit to my FLHTCUI and what a pain in the butt that was. Unbeleivable! Seems so simple on the surface, but the alignment was the part I had the hardest time with. I ended up having to loosen several other bolts just in order to get everything to line up. All in all it worth the effort because it adds a great deal of convenience to an Ultra, where you would otherwise have to leave teh Tour Pack on. While I was at it I chopped my antenneas. They look awesome on the Tour Pack. I used the metal (old style) cellular phone looking AM/FM antenneas. I cut them down to an acceptable length and now I'm much happier with them. Plus it gives the bike a custom touch. One thing to note is you cannot use the CB if you cut your antennea down like I did. The CB radio is tuned to the length of the antennea. Not that it matters to me anyway, I never used the damn thing anyway. Final point on the Docking Kit. If you are attemtping to install this on an Ultra the instructions say the kit is not compatiable with an FHLTCUI. That is false. The MoCo says that because of the additional wiring in the back for the Tour Pack (radio/cb antenneas, speaker wires, lighting, etc). It's really simple, I just wrapped everything up with zip ties, placed them in zip lock bags and packed my wiring down really well under my seat. Voila! I put a Le Pera custom saddle on and the bike looks awesome.

Hello all,
I got the rear docking hardware and two up tour pack rack done yesterday at work. Harley needs to a do better job on their instructions, it took about an hour and a half. The most time consuming part was getting the saddlebags lined up to where the locking pins would line up and lock the saddlebags in place. I'll be ordering the King tour pak tomorrow from Benjy's Harley in w. Virginia. $599.20 for the color matched trunk.
