I see a lot of votes for pit boss and I did purchase one of these not long ago but I never used it outside of trying it on in my kitchen, the paint was absolutely horrible on the one I got, may have been just the one I got, not sure
Super Seer makes quality helmets but are a little pricey for what you get, I have a seer carbon fiber and its pretty nice. I would guess about 90% of super seers business is law enforcement and even the civilian models still look like cop helmets, my guess is thats why you dont see a lot of them in the civilian market.
I have two. One is a Bad *** and one is a Harley. The benefit of the Harley helmet is the flip down sun shade, which the Bad *** doesn't have, but I like them both.
Think I am going to go with the Hammerhead Carbon. Super easy to order... I have heard nothing but good about Bad *** helmets but you cannot order from their web site and my local stealer and they are horrible does not carry them so, no bueno I am no driving 75 miles for a helmet.
