What is the difference between the WEGO and the TCFI, or better yet, what exactly are they? Are they the "auto tune" portion of the set up? I was trying to figure that out from the web site. Do they each work on a certain year/injection system?

The TCFI is a replacement ECM you can tune yourself with the software provided from DTT. The WEGO IID or WEGO II are 02 sensor interfaces for the TCFI...The II is a single (front cyl. setup) and the IID is a dual 02 sensor setup.
You can run from stock to wild..Even a 124 inch motor withECM and 02 interfacesetup.
For the 07 bikes it has the J1850 data bus so the security system and cruise control functions normally...

So the complete set up is all three items? The DTT, WEGO IID, and TCFI? Sorry if these are obvious questions.

That OK... Ask away...That`s how you learn and what this forum is for.
The DTT stands for Daytona Twin Tec. They make the TCFI and WEGO interface. You can buy it as a kit like I did.
I`m not letting anyone touch my bikes and I like to tune my own stuff. This is by far the most expansive and easiest setup.
I can change it to match any mods down the road. You can also read codes with it. You can pull real time data because it has a recording buffer. You fine tune it using buffer data chartsinstead of dyno tuning.
It`s all done with flash programming and your PC. You can even mount a pocket PC/Palm handheldtype device on the handle bar and read actual real-time data as you ride.
For me, it`s the only way to go. The auto tune works great, but you need to fine tune it with the charts. It`s easy because it shows you the data you need to change to the proper values. Run it 2 to 4 hours and recheck it....Once everything is within the parameters given your done and the bike runs great. Make a change and do the same thing and so on....

The TCFI-IID is a complete system that includes everything ya need.... It is manufactured by Daytona TwinTec (DTT).

This past weekend I input the timing charts from HeadQuarter's website, and my MPG went up 10...........from 33 mpg to around 45 mpg.

I was using the timing charts that the previous owner had installed, and figured I would try the HQ ones to see how it worked. It runs great, no pinging, and the MPG went up............so all in all it worked out great.

The bike is running better and better............I'm still applying the BLM's every so often and it keeps getting better.

I tried the HQ chart on mine and I was pinging a lot... had to take out quite a bit and actually ended up close to a chart I received from Bernie.... So I went 290 miles yesterday and have the timing really good. SOOO this morning I loaded the Bernie chart and will see where that takes me..... Ill keep taking bits and pieces from different charts I run and make a final one..............

I was nervous this weekend with the HQ timing chart, it has a lot of advance compared to what I had in there. The temps were in the 90's on Saturday with high humidity, we were riding in the White Mtns. of NH right at the speed/rpm that pinging would normally happen with the PCIIIusb installed. I had no pinging at all, as hot was it was it didn't do it a bit. The HQ timing is pretty aggressive, but the bike ran great. Only time it pinged is when I was at an extended red light and the bike started getting hot, right after that it pinged for a bit then was back to normal after the fresh air flowed over the motor.
