Default Conti Tires

I am considering putting Continental tires on my Ultra. I am just not real happy with Dunlops and the
mileage I am getting with them. I ran Shinko's on my Honda and they were cheaper and lasted longer than Dunlops.
I know Harley recommends only Dunlop, but hell that is probably cause they get them so cheap.

Best change I made to my Road King was putting on Metzler 880s. No problen with construction zones and the asphalt areas where they have ground off the top layer. Better cornering and a altogether better feel in my opinion. The only Continental tires I have any experience with were on a 2005 Dodge Magnum and they were crap. Wore out in 14,000 miles and rode terrible.

Just put a Conti Milestone on the rear of my 06 Ultra, definatley a much better ride than the two Dunlops that have been back there.

First day after it was on I got caught in one mother of a downpour storm, and that thing stuck like glue.

Just waiting for the front to wear a bit more then a conti will be going up there also.

I have never had a dunlap on any bike that I got more than 8-9000 on the rear and a little better on the front. The shinko's were good to at least 11 and sometimes 12. I really don't like the way the Dunlaps feel on grooved payment and they feel loose on wet roads to me..
