I have been running Mobil 1 20-50w syn for my oil, what do you guys think I should run in my Tranny, and Primary (brand and weight) ???

HD Formula+ is what I use, Amsoil in the engine...

Mobil 75/90 in the tranny or Amsoil 75/90 and Formula + primary

Mobil1 in the engine, Shockproof Heavy for the trans and MTL for the primary.

Redline shockproof or the Mobil stuff in the tranny is what I am hearing is best. I have Formula+ in my tranny and topped it off after an end cover change with some old Castrol hypoid stuff I had laying around, instantly shifted better. Dont use the Formula+ in tranny is my advice. Primary? Anything goes but your safe with fomula+ or even some regular old 20/50 from what I am hearing. Cant go wrong with the good $hit either.
