Nah, I'm still waffling : ) It's great to be informed though.I'm finding out much from all the great comments/inputs.Corbin's looks decent. I'm 1hr from their Ormond Beach store so I'll give it a look
Making my own. Once Ifinish the form, I'll post my progress in another thread. I've been takin pics so that I could show the process.
To keep on topic, I prefer quad's fairing. It has the better looking overall dashboard. The others have a lot of dead space. To much blank - flat surface.
I was told my a mod to not promote Corbin here on HDF anymore, however, I have still to receive a response from the moderator I've been speaking with. (Trying to get the exact definition of the difference between informing, and promoting.)
So, sorry if I light anyone up with this post...
...Corbin doesn't have a radio for the fairing, however it does have two speakers and an amplifier system. You can plug and play with cd changers, i pods, and portable cd players. I'm not quite sure as far as a satellite radio device, but I'm checking with my higher ups.
I put a Dead Center on my 07 Road King and love it! I looked at the rest for ever and have friends with all the rest on their bike They all like mine better. You will like the lock feature and the perfect color match to your bike, let alone the fact that they have the best service going.
Ronjo...
I chose the Quadzilla. excellent value for the money. The stereo kicks even at high speeds. I have gotton alot of compliments. the Dragonfly is nice but every extra is alacart. That turned me off! You replace the rubber windshield bushing with the Quad supplied stainless stell bushings and lock it down with 1/2" wrench. Your other windshields can still beused with the new steel bushings. No complaints with the Quad. I had mine color matched by a body shop. I can give you some advice on painting if you like.
Firebagger website is running the fairing looks great but it comes from China so you might want the unpainted version. Definately the most reasonably priced and lockable too!
