I too am always looking for 6th gear on my 06 SG. I love the way the bike rides. I still have my 04 fxst but ride my SG most of the time. I'm still thinking Ultra but the SG is plenty of bike for the highway. I have a tour pack and do all my grocery runs with it. Saves me $ on gas and a lot more fun. 15K is a very good price for a nice ride like this. Get all his service records and pick his brain about any problems. How does the tires look? Has he done any add ons?

what about all the 07 issues? I got my 06 just cuz of them, tranny wine, 6 speed gearing not quite matched to the motor plus here in CA the 07 have smog and your not allowed to change anything, no one checks so far but its not an issue on the 06, either way nothing really wrong with the 06.

Nope...I was out of town with the family at the PortofinoResort Hotel/Universal Orlando. All that money for a hotel room and they charge for Internet access so I decided to leave my laptop in the bag. Nope, I didn't make an offer on this bike, I'm going to do more searching for an '07 with low miles that's priced similar. If this bike is still around in a few more weeks, I willoffer the gentleman a few thousand less then he's asking and see if he goes for it. If not, then I will keep looking for the '07.I'm on the hunt andI really want the Cobalt blue color (or black)but I am not in a major rush and when the deal is right, I will pull the trigger. Thanks to all of you for the greatinput. Looking forward to joining your Street Glide group but I will also be keeping my current bike as well.
