I have a Shriner's bike, A firefighters special, it is a shriners VIN says so, and there is a vinyl emblem on the tank is a decal, rather than a piece of metal
I had a 03 firefighter special edition road king. The vin number designated it as a shriners edition. I assume its assigned to any of the special edition bikes, like police, firefighter, shriner ect. I'm not a firefighter I bought it cause I liked it and never got flack for riding it. If you like it, buy it and enjoy riding it.
I'm glad to see this post. I just discovered my 05 Heritage Peace Officer model VIN designates it as a Shriner model. I was starting to wonder if the dealership swapped tins to accommodate the original owners purchase requirement.
And I thought Shriners were simply the drunken clowns riding extremely small minibikes in parades that throw candy at the youngsters and do stupid tricks.............oh wait, that's only around here........carry on.
PM Siloam 609 & also a Shriner. My bike is a Shrine model (didn't buy it originally, was in the Horse Patrol at the time) but there isn't any special Shrine markings on it.
As far as color I've seen white, Luxurious Red & Yellow + Green (some called it John Deere bikes).
15 years ago when HD was in huge demand, Shrine clubs could get new bikes every year. The waiting list, I was told, for the general public was over a year for a new model. That's why everybody wanted to belong to our Shrine Police Club.
And I thought Shriners were simply the drunken clowns riding extremely small minibikes in parades that throw candy at the youngsters and do stupid tricks.............oh wait, that's only around here........carry on.
As I've said before, I'm a Shriner. This is me, but not drunk... lmao
